Frequently Asked Questions

How do you price your services?

Pricing is built around four variables: headcount, service hours (single or multi-shift), existing kitchen setup, and operating model (subsidised, paid, or hybrid). After a site visit we propose a structure — typically cost-per-meal, management fee, or a blended model — with transparent breakdowns for food, labour, utilities, and overheads. We do not quote blind: every proposal follows a site assessment so numbers reflect real conditions, not assumptions.

Can you take over an existing cafeteria?

Yes. We regularly take over operations from incumbent operators or in-house teams. The process covers a site assessment, staff transition (TUPE-style where applicable), equipment and inventory handover, menu continuity planning, and compliance re-certification (JAKIM Halal, HACCP, RBA where relevant). A standard takeover mobilises in 3–6 weeks depending on site readiness and audit requirements.

Can you operate with limited kitchen facilities?

Yes. For sites with constrained kitchens we deploy central-kitchen supply, finishing-kitchen models, or hybrid setups where bulk production happens off-site and plating or reheating occurs on-site. This is common for corporate offices, training centres, and smaller factories where a full production kitchen is not viable. We scope the right model during the site assessment.

What information is needed for a proposal?

To prepare an accurate proposal we need: site location, daily headcount by shift, required service hours and meal periods, current kitchen and dining area layout (photos or floor plan help), existing operating model and any contractual constraints, compliance requirements (Halal, HACCP, RBA, CSER), and any dietary or cuisine preferences. A site visit follows to validate the scope before pricing.

How long does mobilisation take?

Typical mobilisation runs 3–6 weeks from contract signing. Fast-track takeovers of operational kitchens can complete in 2 weeks; greenfield sites requiring equipment procurement, JAKIM Halal certification, and full staff recruitment may take 8–12 weeks. We confirm a timeline during the assessment phase and share a week-by-week mobilisation plan.

Do you support audit environments?

Yes. Our operations are built for audited environments: JAKIM Halal certified, HACCP protocols, MeSTI/MDSA compliance, KKM-certified food handlers (with current typhoid and Hepatitis B screening), RBA Code of Conduct compliance for semiconductor and electronics clients, and CSER audit-ready documentation. We maintain the records, training logs, and supplier traceability required for client and third-party audits.
